WordPress Plugin – LinkGather



This plugin for WordPress shows you how to export the URL's for all your websites posts in Google Spreadsheets format.

Download the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repository by looking for LinkGather, also you can just go to the URL below:

LinkGather Plugin

Now you have installed and activated the plugin, you can start using it.

How To


A new link on the options side of your WordPress admin portal will appear called LinkGather:

Hovering over this tab option, you will then see a sub-menu with the different sections available to you:

If you click on the Home offering, this will take you to the plugins home page which includes instructions, similar to these, on how to use the plugin.

Post Links


Click the Post Links title to navigate you to the page that will show all of your websites published posts’ URL. Be aware that for the purposes of this guide, we are using our demo test site with just a click here few URL's in it.

You should now see a list with two columns, one for the title of your posts and another for the links of your posts. Depending on how many posts you have will depend on how long this list will be.

Underneath the URL list, you will see that LinkGather has also calculated how many post URL you have.

You then also have the ability to download the articles in Excel format.

Page Links


The instructions is exactly the same for Page Links, but instead of bringing back published posts, it will bring back published pages instead:

JetPack Links


The option for JetPack Links is again exactly the same method as those above, but, JetPack Links are actually built in short links created by the JetPack software. If you have the JetPack plugin installed, you must have the short links option also enabled for our plugin to be able to get those links.

If you do not have the JetPack short read more links module enabled, our plugin will just pull back basic post links instead.
